A
table hockey brother passes 12-2-05
Garry
Butler, table hockey player, collector, dealer
and organizer, passed away Oct. 26 after fighting
a
rare form of kidney cancer for nearly a year.
Many of
you probably knew him as one of the organizers
of the
annual U.S. Open tournament in Lemont, where
he took
fourth in the B pool this year despite undergoing
treatment at the time. Some of Garry's fondest
table

Classic in Montreal and at the Vancouver tournament.
But he thrived on putting on the U.S. Open each
year.
A funny guy, sharp dresser and tough competitor,
Garry
